Zombi Summer 03:35
V - The sun is out and I look like an asshole. Blue jeans and leather jacket they asked me if I'm cold. Barefoot, sun tan, surfboard and I don't even have a pair of shorts and flip-flops don't hold up in the pit but it doesn't even matter when Fulci lives! V- It's summertime but I'd rather stay, inside and locked in the cellar at the house by the cemetery. We can stare into the beyond in an analog haze all day because the gates of hell or not so far away. Pre Choirs - Do you remember that summer? Do you remember every single summer when we stayed in the house by ourselves on the couch and our clothes came off with the TV on. Chorus - V- it’s summertime and it’s just like the last one. I smoke too many cigarettes and my VCR is broke. And I stare at the spot on the floor where you dropped your drink 10 years before and I sit alone and wish my life away. Bridge - My brain keeps ticking like a house of clocks. Replaying voices from beyond. Your cat in my brain no still gets me off. But it’s cold out side, and the summer is gone. And I wonder what it’s like back in chicago With your white picket fense and 2 car garage And if your brand new life still makes you smile And if you ever think of me even once in a while. Just give me one more zombi summer night with you - id give anything x4
